Rossano Liberatore was born in Maratea (Potenza – Italy) in 1969.
After a space-conceptual pursuit, he reaches the object by means of a detail inquiring mind.
After moving to Rome, Liberatore graduated in Painting and Drawing at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in 1996. Awarded with a scholarship, he also specialized in Restoration and Old Pictorial Techniques in 2000.
In the same year he painted a fresco portrait which was selected as a gift to Pope John Paul II during the Craftsman Jubilee.
Since 2012 he collaborates with the University of Italian Switzerland (USI) as a lecturer in Visual Communication and Art History.
Today Rossano works between Maratea and Salerno, where he holds a professorship in Drawing and Art History.
